- First get the Picture then fine tune the Settings
- Ask yourself have I changed any settings on the Camera
- What shooting mode should I use
(Auto, Aperture Priority etc.) - ISO (Keep on Lo unless you need a High Speed)
- Image Stabilisation – On or Off
- Metering – Usually Multi – Spot for Backlight
- White Balance – Auto
- Focus Mode – Multi Point or Flexi Centre etc.
- Check Histogram (Before & After Shot)
- If shooting at low speed steady the Camera – use a tripod
- Bracket higher and lower where you are unsure of exposure
- First get the Picture then fine tune the Settings
